Dad and Joe, looking at the hole. What happened was... you see, um... Two big cows in one field with a yard hydrant. Well, somehow, during the time they were in the field, someone jumped (okay, not jumped...) onto the hydrant and bent it so that it was folded over almost in half!! We don't really know what they were doing - and no one showed any signs of scratches or damage. Phew! Well, we had one of our wonderful neighbors come and dig out the hydrant so Joe and Dad could replace it.
