Working in the Dirt

We've been trying to figure out where one of the drains in the barn goes, so, up there, there's been a lot of digging around in the dirt going on!! Of course, that's fine for Abby, who specializes in mud pies. Ü Spring is a great time to play with mud... but I'm afraid Dad and Joe can't say they enjoy working in it as much!
One of the pipes.

Delightful, squishy, dirty, squooshy, messy, awful, chunky mud!

Art.

Observation.

  1. Looks like great fun. The trenches look like the ones used in World War One.

In our back yard when we first moved in, rainwater would collect in a miniture Noah flood. So I dug a long trench from one side of the back of the yard to the other- about 70 feet in length to a storm drain. The water flows well now.

Is that snow that I see in the back round?
