Here's a pic of all the firewood we've been gathering over the last few weeks. =)

Bare branches.

Sure looks rather dreary... =) But now it's all melted! So everything is back to brown again... at least till the next snow! Till then, so long!

    WOW! Its already snowing!! Seams like we were just swimming at the beach....Summers gone.....:(

    Snow! It is 79-81 here in southern Virgina. My family and I are still growing collards in our garden. A friend at church, who has a big garden told us the secret to big collards. He digs a trench and puts leaves in it. Then next year he plant his rows over the spot where the leaves are rotting. The leaves from last year provide nitrogen.

    That's really neat about the collard greens!! We love collard greens, they're so great. We'll have to try that one year. Too bad we didn't know about that this year!!
