Firetrucks

Before you get too concerned - no, our house did not burn down! (no - not even almost.) Sometimes Dad and Joe (who are on the volunteer firefighters for Steven's County) come by to our house if they've had a call up our way. Since we live on a pretty main road (or, as "main" as you can get in Stevens County!) a lot of their district lies up it, so they go by often (well... not really often, but pretty frequently) and they'll stop by to say hello when they're done!

Engine 52.

I just love this picture. (Mom took all these pictures, by the way. Didn't she do a great job?!)

Hi, there, little firefighter! It's really too bad that you have to be a real firefighter to ride in the truck on official business - Abby looks great in the driver's seat!

Grins!

Bye for now!! Hope you had a really nice visit, come back again soon!

Joe

Great Firefighter photos. I wish we could do firefighting together. The department in Chesapeake is on a hiring freeze because of the economy.

I have just been accepted in to a local hospital's nurse aid training program. I passed with an "A" in my BLS class. We are in similar places, with EMS and nurse aid.

Dave: Dave G here... Great photo of you in the Fire Truck! ICAF is good but the toughest academic challenge I've had yet :-\ Last Thu / Fri we were on the road, 2nd Semester is A LOT of travel (W/out dip in academics); we were at Blackwater and then JFCOM. Blackwater facility, 7K acres, is amazing! No word on Orders yet, but God will provide... Blessings, dave g+
