Firetrucks

Before you get too concerned - no, our house did not burn down! (no - not even almost.) Sometimes Dad and Joe (who are on the volunteer firefighters for Steven's County) come by to our house if they've had a call up our way. Since we live on a pretty main road (or, as "main" as you can get in Stevens County!) a lot of their district lies up it, so they go by often (well... not really often, but pretty frequently) and they'll stop by to say hello when they're done!

Engine 52.

I just love this picture. (Mom took all these pictures, by the way. Didn't she do a great job?!)

Hi, there, little firefighter! It's really too bad that you have to be a real firefighter to ride in the truck on official business - Abby looks great in the driver's seat!

Grins!

Bye for now!! Hope you had a really nice visit, come back again soon!

Abby's Seventh Birthday

Hello, everyone! As I promised before, here are pictures of Abby's birthday! (finally!) It's really hard to believe that our little "baby" is seven years old already. Time sure flies. She's such a blessing to our family. We love you, Abby!

"I'm seven now. Wow. That's old!"
Ü
Hmm?

Sarah (of course... what an original, imaginative title!)

The official (and ridiculous) Hannah-Sarah Picture of the Event! (Is that "officially ridiculous" or "ridiculously official?")

Huggies!
I wonder what it is!?

Yes?

Sarah inspects...

Birthday hug from Daddy!

Mom made Abby this adorable purse out of an old pair of jeans Abby outgrew. It's really cute!

Art.

Grins!!

Oh, my! The excitement!

It's Abby's first watch! (she's doing really well at telling time now)

Anticipation...

Blowing out the candles!!

Playing with her "new stuff!"

Enjoying the cake!

And now, I leave you, with a picture of the smiley-faced birthday girl! I hope you come back to visit us again real soon.

Full Moon

There is really nothing going on at the moment... so I'm kind of at a loss for what to post pictures of! I do have some exciting news... Abby will be turning 7 on February 16! She's very excited (of course...) and I think I can promise you some pictures of that event. Ü
But for now, here are some photos that I took of the moon. It was really full a few nights ago, so I got these pictures. Of course, my camera's just a little digital one, so they're not the best - but they're my very first moon shots and I'm rather proud of them! I hope you enjoy the pictures and have a great day!

The moon behind some trees. I think the silhouettes of the trees had a really cool effect.

That's all for now! Thanks for stopping by, and we hope you come back to visit us as soon as you can!

The Great Travels of the Blue Clip Part #5

Hello, everyone!!
I think it's high time our mascot, the blue clip, came back to visit the blog along with his friend, the yellow clip! The last time they were seen was in Wisconsin, I think. (you can veiw more photos of the clip by clicking on the link "Clip Art" under "Blog Categories" on the sidebar.) So, I took a few pictures of the clips around the farm. Here they are!!
Sitting on the latch on one of the barn's doors.

Hanging on the edge of Daisy's pen. (The background is the rest of the little barn.)

Perched on the top of Clover's milking stanchion.

Panorama

Hello and good morning, ladies and gentlemen! February fourth already and no post in the month!! I just had to do something about that, so here's one to get us started!
(click here to see this picture bigger)
This is a panorama view that Joe took while he and I were up on the hill across the street the other day. (here and here are some more pictures from that same day.) His camera has a setting that helps you take the panorama shots, and then, on the computer, he stiches them together. It's really cool!!
I'll try to post again later this week - hope you have a great day!
