A Very Un-Typical Winter Day

Here's a typical winter day- wake up, and it's in the teens. Cloudy. Around lunchtime it warms up to 20! *gasp! heat wave!* Still cloudy. The day ends early, and it's dark before dinner, with no sunset at all because... guess what? It was cloudy. Oh, I forgot - stargazing is pretty much out... although the cloudgazing around here is wonderful, they say!

All summer long there won't be a cloud in the sky. (that means it's verrrry dry around here) But it's pretty... ummm... cloudy around here in the winter! Yes, Washington weather is extreme.
So what makes today so UNtypical?

The sunshine!! Yay!!!
,
So this is to prove that Washington isn't ALWAYS cloudy. Just usually. And for sunshine people, (like some of us) it seems even cloudier than it really is. But there really are some sunny days!

And today was one. And we enjoyed it.

We finished off the day with a beautiful sunset, compliments of our marvellous Creator!! =)

Hope ya'll are having a WONDERFUL week!!!

*gasp* Oh, my word!! Tomorrow is February!

Aww...beautiful as usual! Thanks for posting these....it reminds me what sun actually looks like! We are in the midst of a nasty winter storm with ice and freezing rain this morning and snow forcasted for the next 36 hours! Oh, joy!

Spring is coming though....and I'm counting down the days! :)
