Oh, It's a Winter-y Day in the Neighborhood

Well, it's been a little while since I've posted any "art" photos, hasn't it? Well, not too much happens on a farm in January. It's a little cold - ever heard the phrase "molasses in January?!" Well, we've discovered it to be true!! We keep a bottle of molasses up in the barn to sprinkle on grass hay for a treat in the summer time. But if you were to go up there now, you couldn't get any out no matter how hard you tried!! I suppose that's because it's 5 degrees below zero this morning... Ü
Well, I'll stop babbling and let you see the photos. Have a great day!!
Hannah (and the rest of the Ps)

The frost on one of the windows on the barn.

Isn't that pretty?!

Here's a crop of that previous photo, so you can see the pattern a little bit better.

This is across the street. The sun would be just to the right of the edge of the picture - that's why the sky is so washed out.

I took this photo to Picasa and tinted the sky a pinkish-peach color so that it looked like the sun was coming up! (that's kind of cheating, isn't it? but it's fun!)

The view up the road. The sky is a brilliant blue today - the first sun we've had in a long time!!

Oh, Han! Those pictures are wonderful! It is a snowy day here but not nearly as pretty! I just love the frost on the barn pictrues! So stunning!

Thanks for sharing and posting again! Always makes my day to see a new post from you! :-)

Love ya!

Beautiful nature photos. The mountain ones are my favorite.
