Frosted Nature

Do you all remember the post about the first snow? Well, that was the first snow - and (so far) has only been followed by a second snow, which has now melted away. By this time last year, we had a ton of snow - literally. But this year, we have no snow on the ground whatsoever. These pictures are a few days old, left over from when it last snowed. You will notice that the snow is very, very light, so light that it looks simply like a heavy frost.

Have a great day! Enjoy!!
Hannah

This looks like a picture that would have been taken in the spring, doesn't it?

Bare branches, blue sky.

Frosted patterns.

A very light snow will make these look like crystallized sugar - it's really cool!

Ice in the creek.

*Edit* Of course, right after I post that, we get a weather forcast for a BLIZZARD! 8-24 inches of snow on Friday through Friday night! Of course, that might mean power outages (but we know how to deal with those, don't we, typhoon pals? Ü), but it also means tons of pictures!! See ya later!! *End edit*

Yes, we do have fine memories of Guam

Those typhoons were a great training for us, they remind me of what St. Paul said "I have learned to be content in all situations".
